„Моќта на јавното говорење и говор на тело“ – работилница за развој на вештини на АБФ стипендистите

На 15 април 2025 година, во просториите на Млади Хаб, Скопје, се одржа практична и инспиративна работилница на тема „Моќта на јавното говорење и говор на тело“, организирана за стипендистите на програмата „Атанас Близнакоф“ на Македонија2025.

Интерактивната сесија беше водена од Анастасија Илиевска – новинарка, уредничка и сертифициран обучувач за комуникациски вештини, која преку практични примери и директна вклученост на учесниците ја доближи темата до секој присутен. На настанот учествуваа 20 млади стипендисти кои активно се вклучија во сесијата.

Целта на работилницата беше да ги охрабри младите да зборуваат самоуверено, автентично и со јасна порака. Преку воведувањето на формулата 3А – Автентичност, Ажурност и Акција, учесниците се запознаа со темелите на ефективната комуникација. Особено внимание беше посветено и на невербалната комуникација – тоналитетот, држењето на телото, микромимиката, гестовите, позиционирањето на нозете и изборот на облека – како елементи кои силно влијаат врз перцепцијата на говорникот.

Работилницата целосно ја исполни својата мисија – да ги опреми младите лидери со применливи комуникациски алатки кои ќе им помогнат да се истакнат во академскиот, професионалниот и личниот развој. За сите кои не беа во можност да присуствуваат, сесијата беше целосно документирана и наскоро ќе биде достапна на социјалните медиуми на Македонија2025.

Овој настан претставува почеток на еден важен чекор во рамки на континуираната заложба на програмата „Атанас Близнакоф“ да инвестира во младите – со цел да ги подготви да ги застапуваат своите идеи, знаења и вредности – гласно, јасно и самоуверено.

Искрена благодарност до Млади Хаб за обезбедувањето на простор и за нивната помош во одржување на оваа работилница.

Финале на натпреварот „Најдобар бизнис концепт 2025: Натпревар за зелени иновации“

На 12 април 2025 година, во Скопје се одржа финалето на натпреварот „Најдобар бизнис концепт 2025: Натпревар за зелени иновации“, организиран од Националниот центар за развој на иновации и претприемачко учење (НЦРИПУ) при Машинскиот факултет на Универзитетот „Св. Кирил и Методиј“ во Скопје. Овој натпревар, наменет за средношколци, имаше за цел да го поттикне претприемачкиот дух кај младите и да промовира развој на зелени иновации кои позитивно влијаат врз економијата и животната средина.

На финалето учествуваа 16 тимови, кои ги презентираа своите иновативни идеи пред жири-комисијата.

„Македонија2025 е организација која е посветена на создавање на просперитетна иднина на нашата држава преку поддршка на иновации, образование и млади лидери како вас. Ние веруваме дека вие сте клучот кон одржлив развој на нашата држава и затоа сме горди партнери на овој натпревар,“ истакнаа претставниците на жири-комисијата на Македонија2025.

По внимателна евалуација, жири-комисијата ги избра следните победници:

  • I место: Проект RIZONIC – СОУ „Гошо Викентиев“, Кочани
  • II место: Проект PurTex – СОУ „Јане Сандански“, Струмица
  • III место: Проект Freshko – СУГС „Раде Јовчевски Корчагин“, Скопје и Проект MakeBag – СУГСГ „Здравко Цветковски“, Скопје

Победничките тимови ќе добијат награди од партнерите на натпреварот: Македонија2025, Халкбанка АД Скопје, Центарот за управување со знаење, Министерството за економија на Република Македонија и проектот GREENSMES – Interreg IPA Adrion.

“Клубот на Амбасадори” на Македонија2025 донира 538.000 денари за реновирање на простории на детскиот оддел во болницата „Свети Еразмо“

Скопје, 09.04.2025 “Клубот на Амбасадори” на Македонија2025 донираше 538.000 денари за реновирање на простории на детскиот оддел во специјалната болница „Свети Еразмо“ во Охрид.

Оваа значајна донација ќе придонесе за подобрување на просториите во кои се згрижуваат најмладите пациенти, со цел да се обезбеди поудобна и пријатна средина за нив и нивните семејства. Реновирањето опфаќа унапредување на инфраструктурата и создавање услови за поквалитетна здравствена грижа.

„Нашата цел е да поддржиме проекти кои го подобруваат животот на граѓаните и оставаме трајно влијание врз заедницата. Macedonia2025 and Mostovi Sign Memorandum of Understanding to Empower Young Talents

Skopje, March 19, 2025.

Macedonia2025 is proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Mostovi do Doma, an association founded by Macedonian students who have graduated from the world’s top 100 universities through the Ministry of Education and Science Scholarship program.

This strategic partnership marks a shared commitment to fostering economic and social development in Macedonia by supporting young talents, entrepreneurs, and professionals. Through this collaboration, the two organizations will work together to:

  • Provide mentorship and training opportunities to emerging leaders and professionals;
  • Promote entrepreneurship and innovation through joint programs and initiatives;
  • Collaborate in independent research projects contributing to local progress;
  • Organize events and forums that strengthen knowledge exchange and networking.

By connecting global experience with local potential, Macedonia2025 and Mostovi are building bridges back home—creating opportunities for young Macedonians to contribute to a stronger and more prosperous future.

OPEN CALL FOR SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE OHRID HI-TECH EXCELLENCE CAMP 2025

Macedonia2025 is a non-profit, non-political organization dedicated to building strong partnerships and linkages worldwide and working together towards building a stronger nation. We represent a platform for all Macedonians around the globe to unite and join our efforts in supporting the economic and democratic growth of Macedonia.

Ohrid Hi-Tech Excellence Camp provides an opportunity for youths of Macedonian origin to further their knowledge in coding and robotics. Furthermore, participants will have the opportunity to get in touch with their roots and network with Macedonians from all over the world, in an inspiring environment by the Ohrid Lake.

Macedonia2025 announces an Open Call for Scholarships for the fifth Ohrid Hi-Tech Excellence Camp, which will take placein Ohrid, North Macedoniaon July 13-19, 2025.

Ohrid High-Tech Excellence Camp blends summer fun with an immersive STEM experience, bringing together young minds from around the world to develop coding, robotics, and problem-solving skills. Led by the Academy for Robotics and Innovation and STEM Robotika Kočani, in partnership with Young Engineers Skopje, the camp features globally recognized LEGO® Education Technology and Israeli-licensed STEM programs used in over 50 countries. Participants will engage in hands-on learning, programming FABLE components led by Brainster, and tackling real-world challenges inspired by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This year’s theme, FIRST® LEGO® League – FIRST® DIVE℠: SUBMERGED℠, focuses on ocean exploration. Teams will create innovative solutions for cleaner, healthier oceans while fostering leadership, teamwork, and perseverance—preparing them to be the next generation of problem solvers and innovators.

This Camp is also an opportunity to establish friendships, strengthen and build on native Macedonian culture, explore local nature and our cultural heritage, and experience Macedonian cuisine and specialties. 

Key Benefits

  • Improve high-tech skills (coding, programming, and robotics);
  • Promote greater enrollment of youth, and especially young girls, from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics);
  • Establish connections and networks among young Macedonians living in Macedonia and young diaspora members, and support cross-cultural exchanges between them;
  • Establish and strengthen the connection of young diaspora members with their homeland, developing their sense of giving back to our homeland/community; and
  • Interact with some of the top leaders in the country and top business leaders from the country and/or abroad.

Program Content

This weeklong camp will consist of both theoretical and practical sessions that teach medium/advanced coding and robotics skills.

The training sessions will take place over the course of 5 working days (4 hours/per day). The rest of the day will be filled in with organized activities, such as cultural events, socialization, field trips to local sights, beaches, and sightseeing. Supervisors, lecturers, or volunteer chaperones, will accompany participants at all times.

Participants will be equipped with the following:

  • Interdisciplinary skills in STEM – basic and advanced STEM principles, coding, and robotics
  • Skills and abilities necessary for the 21st century, such as: Programming languages; Science and Engineering; Problem-, product-, project-based learning; Teamwork; Core leadership values; Outside the box thinking; Critical thinking; Creative thinking; Problem-solving;
  • Becoming Generations of Global Citizens who realize their power to build a better future with the use of technology

The program delivery will focus on modern, highly effective teaching and learning methods. The program curriculum will be delivered by certificated STEM lecturers. Participants will work in groups or in pairs to complete a customized project. Participants will work with exclusively available know-how for innovative learning based on a strategic plan and educational system with LEGO® Education who is a globally recognized educational system that enables innovative learning based on a strategic plan and a modern educational approach. The teaching model it follows is the 5E model: Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, and Evaluate. Through this concept, students gain new knowledge while experimenting and exploring. The methodology not only introduces them to the world of STEM but also fosters self-confidence, encourages collaboration, and motivates them to develop their curiosity. LEGO® Education is much more than a learning tool – it is a platform that transforms students into creative thinkers, inspires them to explore their environment, and prepares them for future challenges with innovative and practical solutions.

Besides the core activities of the Camp, Macedonia2025 will enrich the Program with:

  • A meet and greet with President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova, a discussion on Democracy and Leadership, and an accompanying visit to the presidential villa “Biljana” in Ohrid (tbc)
  • How-those-it-works in practice: visit of an international company, where participants will gain insights into the highly complex and robotized production process;
  • Motivational discussions with members of the Macedonia2025 Board of Directors, with rich professional experiences and high competencies in computer science and engineering, passion for technology, and an entrepreneurial mind.

The Cultural Socialization and Networking will be comprised of the:

  • Orientation and team-building activities;
  • Networking with youths from different countries, engaging in cross-cultural learning experiences, exchanging ideas, and building networks for future international cooperation;
  • Public speaking activities that will enrich communication and increase the presentation skills of participants, as well as their creative and critical thinking;
  • Improving foreign language competencies (English/Macedonian);
  • Cultural activities and programs in partnership national music and arts festival.

Date and Location

Ohrid Hi-Tech Excellence Camp will take place on July 13-19, 2025in Ohrid, North Macedonia. The venue (a 3+ star hotel facility) will be announced in due time.

Language of instruction

The official language of instruction is English. However, we highly encourage the use of the Macedonian language in communication outside of the classroom.

Eligibility

  • Students aged 11-15, who are interested in deepening their knowledge in the fields of coding and robotics
  • Macedonian students and those of Macedonian origin from the diaspora
  • Adequate knowledge of the English and Macedonian languages is appreciated
  • Basic knowledge of Coding, Programming and Robotics
  • Preference will be given to young individuals from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Application

To apply, you must fill in the APPLICATION FORM (HERE) and PARENT CONSENT FORM (MK and EN) , and attach the required documents on the Macedonia2025 E-scholarship Platform (HERE)

Up to 20 candidates will be selected through the following selection process:

  • Administrative pre-selection of the applications by Macedonia2025
  • Selection of successful candidates by a Selection Committee
  • The selection committee will have a personal interview with the potential candidates
  • Selected candidates from the diaspora will be notified by May 2025, while candidates coming from Macedonia will be selected by begging June, 2025.

Note: Gender, ethnicity, and participation from different countries and regions in Macedonia will be taken into account when creating a diversified group of participants.

Participant’s fee

The scholarship fully covers all costs for the Camp.

The Camp scholarship covers classes, camp set of materials, FB accommodation, organized visits and excursions, and local transport costs.

As a sense of responsibility and giving back to your parent’s homeland opportunity awaits prospective participants from the diaspora: contribute a specified amount to sponsor the participation of a friend from a socially vulnerable family in Macedonia.  

Note: The organizers reserve the right to provide partial scholarships, based on individual socio-economic background. The organizers will provide for the participant’s travel arrangements from Skopje to Ohrid.

Macedonia2025 Announces New Chair

Skopje (May, 2024) – Macedonia 2025, a non-profit, non-political organization with primary focus on economic and leadership development, announces the appointment of Viktor Mizo as Chairman of its Board of Directors. Mizo, who joined the Macedonia2025 Board in 2020, succeeds Michael Cklamovski, President, Northern California at Northern Trust, who served as Chairman since 2021.

“It has been an honour to serve as the Chairman of the Macedonia2025 Board of Directors,” said Cklamovski. “I am incredibly proud of the strides we have made in fostering economic development and leadership growth in Macedonia. Our initiatives have significantly impacted the local economy and provided valuable opportunities for our youth and professionals. I am confident that Viktor Mizo will continue to drive our mission forward with his extensive experience and dedication.”

Viktor Mizo is Vice President of Governmental Affairs of the German family owned Kostal group – global leader in design and manufacturing of advanced electronics and mechatronics products for the automotive industry and Managing Director of Kostal Macedonia. Mizo is also President of the Foreign Investors Council within the auspices of the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia.

Mizo received his B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering at the Rochester Institute of Technology, graduating summa cum laude. An alumnus of Harvard University, he holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

“I am honoured to have been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors,” said Mizo. “I look forward to building on the strong foundation laid by Michael and the Board. Our goal is to accelerate Macedonia’s economic growth and enhance its competitiveness on the global stage. WEEK ONE RECAP: LEADER PROJECT 16TH EDITION

During the first  week of the LEADER Project participants engaged in an intensive exploration of key business fundamentals: marketing, finance, and strategy.

Kicking off the week with marketing, participants delved into core concepts such as understanding consumer behavior, segmenting markets effectively, and establishing a strong brand presence. Through interactive sessions and practical exercises, they learned how to craft targeted marketing strategies to reach diverse audiences and maximize market impact.

Transitioning to finance, participants deepened their understanding of financial management essentials. They studied financial statements to glean insights into a company’s financial health, evaluated investment opportunities to make informed decisions, and explored strategies for mitigating financial risks. Armed with this knowledge, participants gained the confidence to navigate the complexities of financial decision-making with clarity and precision.

The week culminated in an exploration of strategic leadership, where participants examined the principles of effective decision-making and competitive analysis. They analyzed case studies to understand how successful organizations formulate and execute strategic plans, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation while ensuring long-term sustainability. By honing their strategic thinking skills, participants are better equipped to lead their teams and organizations towards success in an ever-evolving business landscape.

As Week One draws to a close, participants emerge with a solid foundation in essential business disciplines and a newfound sense of confidence in their abilities. With their toolkit enriched by insights from marketing, finance, and strategy, they are poised to tackle the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in their leadership journey with the LEADER Project.
