The scholarships are provided with the support of our two membership bodies – Ambassadors Club and Advisory Board, as well as through donations and cooperation with corporate and individual partners.
Juliana Janev, hailing from Strumica, is a 15-year-old student currently in her second year at the prestigious “Sergei Mihailov” in-state musical high school in Shtip. Since an early age, Juliana has cultivated a deep passion for the piano, and she actively promotes classical music within her peer group and the wider public. From the very beginning of her musical education, Juliana has stood out for her unwavering dedication to unraveling the intricacies of piano performance.
Juliana has showcased her talent at numerous concerts, festivals, and competitions across Macedonia and throughout Europe. With two successful piano recitals already under her belt, she has emerged as a remarkable performer. Her exceptional skills have earned her an impressive collection of accolades, including 35 special first and first prizes from both international and national competitions for young pianists.
Youthful and driven, Juliana possesses an insatiable thirst for knowledge and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Her sights are set on becoming a world-renowned pianist, aspiring to grace the grand stages of the global music scene.
Melani Ivanova, an 18-year-old individual, was born in Shtip. She currently attends the “Slavcho Stojmenski” High School in Shtip, where she is in her fourth year of study. Her greatest passion and a constant source of fulfillment lie in writing and creating poetry and prose.Melani actively engages in various municipal, regional, state, and international contests, competitions, and workshops. By participating in these events, she nurtures her talent and enhances her personal growth by acquiring new skills and cultivating creative ideas. Through her literary works, she successfully captures her innovative spirit and skill, resonating with the hearts of those who have the privilege of hearing or reading her verses.Melani Ivanova has achieved notable successes throughout her journey, some of which include:– first prize at the municipal literary competition titled “Voice Textile” during the Textiliada 6.– first prize at the International Literary Festival for Poetry, Culture, and Art, which was organized by Milica Paulus and the World Poetry Association.– sole winner of a regional literary competition announced by the Society for Science, Literature, Culture, and Art “Ivan Vasilevski.” And many more.
Tamara Stojanovska, a third-year student at the Vocational High School “St. Cyril and Methodius” in Ohrid, specializes in the health profession. She is currently interning at the PHI Specialized Hospital for Cardiovascular Diseases as part of their team.Tamara has actively participated in state and international physics competitions, earning recognition and winning awards. Her involvement in these innovative competitions led to her official designation as a Karate Master with a black belt in 2020. She has achieved multiple medals, including a gold medal at both the state and international levels. Starting in 2022, Tamara became a member of the Karate Federation of Macedonia.Additionally, Tamara secured first place for a literary work she made in honor of the 100th anniversary of the poet Aco Shopov. She has also been a participant in multiple categories of the MASSUM program, with a notable accomplishment being her contribution to the movie “Perfect Life.” This film’s success has allowed her work to be featured in media outlets such as Voice of America and others.Her primary challenge and focus lie in the search for a cancer drug, which she actively pursues.
Emanuel Avramoski lives in the village of Samokov, but he studies in the middle municipal school “Saint Naum Ohridski” in Makedonski Brod. He completed primary education with excellent success in the same municipality.
During his education, he has participated in various competitions in various subjects, where he won many awards and recognitions, although natural sciences predominate in that context.
He also participated in several separate projects, among which Green Europe stands out. As part of the activities included in that project, he visited a collaborating school in Turkey, where he was involved in activities, presentations, and lectures for the improvement of ecological and environmental issues.
Quite important, is the fact that his obsession and hobby are: participation in projects that bring something new, better, and revolutionary; as well as reading books.
Three attributes that mark him out are vision, enthusiasm, and loyalty.
Iva Kostovska, who resides in Tetovo, is an 18-year-old student attending “Josip Broz Tito” High School in Skopje. She is currently in her fourth year of study. Her academic interests revolve around biology, chemistry, and informatics.
Iva actively participates in various competitions at the municipal, regional, and state levels, consistently achieving commendable results. For instance, she secured third place in this year’s state competition in the field of biology. She has also taken part in training sessions organized by the Red Cross, focusing on first aid. Additionally, she engages in discussions and projects outside of school, primarily centered around informatics, ecology, and chemistry.
In terms of her aspirations, Iva envisions herself as a bioinformatics engineer in the future.
Natalija Tasevska hails from Stoimirovo and is currently enrolled at “Aco Ruskovski” High School in Berovo (2nd year). Her insatiable thirst for knowledge drives her to seek daily improvement. Natalija actively engages in a multitude of competitions and school organizations. She channels her artistic expression through captivating artwork and resonating musical compositions (plays piano and harmonics). During her time in elementary school, she triumphed with her mandolin orchestra, securing the coveted first place. Furthermore, Natalija’s artistic talents were recognized when her drawing was chosen for an esteemed exhibition at the Skopje Museum, where she was honored with a diploma.
Her accomplishments extend beyond the realm of art. Natalija clinched third position in a biology competition and secured second place in a Macedonian language competition for poetry. Additionally, she has actively participated in English, Chemistry, and poetry contests. As the new school year approaches, Natalija is eagerly anticipating her continued involvement in a diverse array of competitions, including those centered around science, mathematics, and informatics.
Jovana Ana Hadzi Hristovska, from Chucher Sandevo (Skopje), is a third-year scholar at “Orce Nikolov” High School in Skopje. Throughout her academic journey, she has actively participated in various projects, focusing specifically on engaging in debates concerning environmental issues.
One defining aspect of her character is her unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on the world. She volunteers at the Red Cross, dedicating her time and effort to serving others and working towards a better future for all. Regarding her notable achievements, she mentions her diplomas from Red Cross competitions and her certificate from the exchange program in Switzerland at the Kids Village Pestalozzi. Additionally, she highlights her diploma from a recent exchange program in Italy with Erasmus.
However, her interests extend beyond volunteering and social activitie. She also possesses a deep passion for coding and robotics, deriving immense joy from utilizing her skills to create innovative robots. These endeavors allow her to express her creativity while embracing the technical challenges that arise along the way.
With an extensive track record of project participation, a genuine desire to serve her community, and a fervor for exploring the realm of robotics, she embodies the spirit of a dedicated and versatile scholar. She firmly believes in the power of education and meaningful contributions, striving to leave a lasting impact on the world around her.
Tijana Manasova, a high school student at “Kocho Racin” in Sveti Nikole, is currently in her third year of studies. She is an enthusiastic participant in various natural sciences competitions, with a particular focus on biology and geography, where she has consistently achieved remarkable results in state-level competitions. Additionally, Tijana possesses exceptional abilities in both natural and social sciences, and she exhibits a remarkable talent for mathematics.
Through her relentless dedication and hard work, Tijana consistently attains her goals and aspirations.
Alexandra Novakoska identifies herself as a student enrolled at the Vocational High School “Brakja Miladinovci” in Skopje, specializing in the “Technician for Phytomedicine” major. She successfully completed her third year of studies, achieving an excellent GPA of 5.0.
In 2022, Alexandra achieved first place in the 50th state competition for school students with agricultural, veterinary, and forestry professions in Macedonia. Her accomplishment was in the discipline of “Recognition of Seeds and Weeds.” Additionally, in the same year, she secured second place in a municipal competition for fire protection, specifically within the Kisela Voda municipality. Alexandra’s involvement in the UPSHIFT project revolved around the topic of soil. She actively participated as a member of the “Terra Madre” team. Their project, focused on the soil cycle, received approval from the UPSHIFT committee, and they were awarded funding to carry out the project.
This scholarship will greatly assist Alexandra in pursuing her plans, providing financial support to complete her secondary education and enroll in a faculty related to “Food Quality and Safety,” “Nutritionism,” or “Phytomedicine.”
Mihail Shapcheski, who hails from Prilep, completed his primary education at the “Kocho Racin” primary school in Prilep, achieving excellent success in all years. He displayed a keen interest in learning from a young age, particularly in mathematics, and actively participated in various competitions, achieving outstanding results. During the 8th grade, he was introduced to physics, which sparked his passion for the subject. Mihail dedicated a significant portion of his time to solving tasks, and his efforts paid off when he had the honor of representing Macedonia at the International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) in Colombia, where he secured a bronze medal.
Currently, Mihail is a scholarship beneficial at the high school “Yahja Kemal” in Skopje.
Additionally, he has been practicing karate since the age of 4 and has earned several awards in the discipline.
Despite his love for learning, Mihail believes in striking a balance by valuing the importance of making friends and enjoying leisure activities.
Vanja Vasilevska is a mechanical engineering student at the “Vlado Tasevski” high school in Skopje. She was part of the volunteering team for the Red Cross. Vanja is a competitive person, she has won a lot of awards, such as the third award for a solo singer, three awards for first place in an international competition in art, second award in a competition in biology and she and her team won the award at the UPSHIFT project for better water quality and water saving. Currently, she is competing in a competition in informatics
Despina Milanova is an 18 year old from Veles. She has won fifteen international, two state and numerous municipal awards in the field of poetry and prose. She is especially fond of the award for best song at the “Children’s Lyrical Tremors” festival. Her poems are published in poetry collections. Despina is also involved in the field of debate, organised by the Parliamentary Institute of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, where her team won first place. Moreover, this year she became an advocate for the rights of children and youth.
Emelj Chico is a second year student at the high school “Rade Jovcevski Korcagin”. She is talented in the fields of mathematics, languages and writing prose and poetry. She has a strong and constant inner motivation for work and studying, as well as high aspirations for future success. She regularly participates and receives awards at international and national competitions. She was awarded second place at the state festival “Rakatki” for literary creation and reading. Moreover, she also won first place at the international English language competition ‘’Hippo’’. Emelj regularly participates in lectures on nature protection. She also participated in the “Junior Achievement” competition. In the field of innovation, she participated in the international program “Girls Go Circular” for fashion and circular economy. Her strongest point is the mathematics competitions, as evidenced by the numerous diplomas.
Leon Ali is a student at SUGS “Shaip Yusuf” – medical technician in Skopje. In general, he is an artistic soul which is why he has attended many national competitions for drawing and drama performances. He uses his free time to improve his talents such as drawing and playing the mandolin. He is part of many non-governmental organizations and activities that are not in line with his educational profile, but fulfill him and bring him success. In the future, he sees himself as a dentist who will continue to follow his dreams, no matter what challenges and external influences he encounters.
Martin Dimitrovski is a first year student at SUGS “Rade Jovcevski-Korcagin” in Skopje. He completed his primary education in Radovish with great success and since then he has shown an immense interest in natural sciences and informatics, thus they became his virtues. Martin trained basketball for the school club in his hometown. He is starting to expand his knowledge in programming, because in the future he sees himself as an ethical hacker.
Melani Ivanova is a third year high school student at “Slavcho Stojmenski” in Stip. Her talent lies in writing and creating, poetry and prose, and she has participated in many state and international competitions with her poetry. She also loves sports and plays handball. She shared her experience with the Program “Support Fund for Talented High School Students “Talents Today – Leaders Tomorrow” – “a place where one can feel true to oneself and get more and more motivated to create new things that lead to a single goal – success”. Her greatest achievements are the following: The Grand Prix award received for the best poetry on the subject “Easter Apotheosis, 2021” – Euro Art Academy and The prize from a literary competition in Prespa (free topic), organized by Жar Prespa / Ember Prespa, where she competed with a literary work titled “For children with special needs” and won second prize according to the votes of the audience.
Tamara Stojanovska is a second year student at the secondary vocational school SOSU “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” in Ohrid, in the health profession. She has been a participant and winner of awards in the field of physics at national and international competitions. Tamara also took part in innovative competitions, and from 2020 she is officially а Karate Master – a black belt with several medals as well as gold on a state level. Finding a cure for cancer is a major challenge for her.
Tijana Manasova is a student in the second year at the high school “Kocho Racin” – Sveti Nikole. She actively participates in competitions in the field of natural sciences, especially in biology competitions, where she has achieved high results in state competitions in recent years. Her strengths are both natural and social sciences, but she also has a major talent for mathematics. She always achieves her goal through hard work and effort.
Urfeta Topolec is a first year high school student at “Vasil Antevski Dren” in Skopje. Her strong suit is reading and writing prose and poetry. She has participated in numerous competitions, including a literary state competition for writing, where she received an award in Macedonian language in 2020; municipal and regional competitions in biology; and participation in a municipal competition in chemistry, physics and mathematics.
Dimitar Dzorlev was born and raised in Strumica and his talent is in Physics – he represented Macedonia at the European Physics Olympiad, 2020 in Romania. Dimitar received the title of “Absolute Champion” at the Experimental Olympiad in Physics. “It is a great honor for me to represent my country. I see myself as an engineer in the field of robotics and I am passionate about new technologies designed to make our life easier”- says the young high school student.
Angela Dragan is a second-year high school student at “Koco Racin” in Veles, with an interest in mathematics and informatics. In terms of her achievements so far, math competitions are her favorite and most valuable. Debates, projects, literature competitions and extracurricular activities are some fields where she has proven her talent and knowledge.
Despina Milanova is a 17 year old from Veles. She has won fifteen international, one state and many municipal awards in the field of poetry and prose. She is especially fond of the award for best song at the „Children’s Lyrical Tremors„ festival. Her poems are published in poetry collections. Despina is also involved in the field of debate, organized by the Parliamentary Institute of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, where her team won first place.
Ines Dostinoska is an architecture student at ‘Niko Nestor’ in Ohrid, Macedonia. She has participated in many national and international competitions in the field of natural sciences.
Ivan Zanov is a second-year student at the “Orce Nikolov” High School in Skopje. In 2017, Ivan Zanov was a state champion in applied skills in informatics. In 2018 and 2019 he won the third prize at the state competitions in programming and in 2020 and 2021 the second prize at the same competitions. In 2019 Ivan was part of the national team that represented Macedonia at the European Junior Olympiad in Informatics in Maribor, Slovenia. In 2020, at the Macedonian Olympiad in Informatics, he won a bronze medal, and I also participated in this year’s Macedonian Olympiad in Informatics.
Filip Gjorgjeski is 16 years old and is a second-year student at Sv Kliment Ohridski in Ohrid. He has participated in numerous regional and state competitions within the subjects of informatics, mathematics, and physics. He is leaning toward the STEM sciences from an early age, especially computer programming, mathematics, and physics.
Goran Kostadinov is a student in the high school Nikola Karev – Strumica where his education is focused on computer technology and automatics. He has participated in many competitions, attending online meetings, conferences, etc. His practical skills improved with working in a small local company called River Soft. His goal is to work as a successful programmer and electrical engineer.
Melani Ivanova is a first year high school student at Slavcho Stojmenski in Stip. Her strong side is writing and creating, poetry and prose and she has participated in many state and international competitions with her poetry. She also loves sports and she plays handball.
Mihaela Naumoska, is a first year student at the High School Gymnasium ‘Mirce Acev’ in Prilep. She has won numerous state and international awards, including third place at the state competition in biology and second place at the Balkan coding competition held in Belgrade in 2020. Mihaela is the secretary in the Student Parliament, and a president of her class. Mihaela also participated in the international exchange of the Pestalozzi Children’s Foundation in Switzerland in 2017.
Tijana Korcheva is a second year high school student at the medical high school “Jane Sandanski” in Stip. In 2016, she participated in a state level Science competition, and took third place. Later she took part in other competitions, such as Biology in 2017, as well as the following 2018 and 2019 in Chemistry, in which she also took part in a state competition.
Angela, a talent in mathematics and physics, has participated in numerous domestic and world competitions in recent months, the most eminent of which are the Macedonian Mathematical Olympiad, where she won a bronze medal, the Mediterranean Mathematical Olympiad and the State Debate Competition, where she has received the gold medal.
Angela has won numerous awards in mathematics, both regionally and nationally. In 2017, Angela won the bronze medal at the Macedonian Mathematical Olympiad. In addition to math competitions, she has participated in numerous art, poetry, geography and English language competitions.
Alma Usein comes from Struga, Macedonia and has a talent in the field of natural sciences. She has participated in numerous competitions in the field of chemistry. Specifically, she won first place in the state competition in chemistry in 2017 and 2018, a competition organized by the Union of Chemists and Technologists of the Republic of Macedonia.
David was born and raised in Prilep. As his talent is programming, he has been involved in numerous projects in the field of robotics, programming, and electronics. He won first prize at a national competition in 2019 in the field of Robotics for his design and construction of an electric autonomous driving vehicle, able to operate itself and perform necessary functions without any human intervention.
David Lazaroski is an ICT innovator from Prilep. He is currently a student at FINKI Faculty in Skopje. Namely, he was proclaimed as the Balkan Champion at the “Mathematical Olympiad” in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria. In this competition, he has won first place in the category of information innovation. In December 2019, David Lazaroski was the winner of the national selection competition “Generation Unlimited”, organized by Telekom MK and UNICEF.

Has a big talent and is particularly interested in the natural sciences. Proof of his interest and knowledge are the numerous awards from state competitions in mathematics, chemistry, biology, and physics. In addition to school obligations, Filip Jovanov is also an active athlete. Namely, he has been training volleyball for more than 9 years. Last year he was named the “Best Young Athlete” of the Municipality of Veles.
Marko Ingilizov has participated in numerous trainings, including: Training for Young Leaders, Youth Academy, Youth Educational Forum, and many more. Furthermore, Marko took part in numerous national and international competitions in the field of natural sciences. Last year, Marko won a silver medal at the competition “European Quiz of Money”, held in Brussels. In addition, he participated in “The Month of Science” and won second prize in this international competition.
Born and raised in Valandovo, Martin is currently a student at FINKI University in Skopje, Macedonia. He has participated in many competitions. In Macedonia, he won the gold medal at the National Olympiad in Informatics. In Greece, he won a silver medal at the Balkan Informatics Olympiad. Meanwhile, in Spain, he took the gold and silver medal of the competition called “World Scholar Cup 2018”. His latest achievement is the victory of the “Generation Unlimited” competition, together with his team “From Zero to Hero”. At this competition, they presented their latest innovation, the smart wheelchair.
Sibela was born and raised in Prilep and has participated in numerous seminars and training in the field of economics. She won first prize in a state competition for the election of a “Leader of the Profession” within the economic legal and trade profession in Kavadarci. She is also actively involved in the Roma Community in Macedonia. She is also actively involved in the Roma Community in Macedonia. Since November 2015, Sibella is the President of the Board of Directors of the Association for Perspective Integration and Development “ROMA PERSPECTIVE” – Prilep.
