Aleksandra Kjurchievska - Promotional Campaign “Science for the Future”

Every Question Brings You One Step Closer to the Future

As part of the Science for the Future promotional campaign, implemented with the support of the Johnson Matthey Community Impact Programme, we are pleased to share the inspiring story of Aleksandra Kjurchievska, a Teacher Mentor and Early Grade Teacher at "Kuzman Josifovski – Pitu" Primary School in Skopje.

As an educator, Aleksandra believes that every child has the potential to discover, create, and grow. Her mission is to nurture students' curiosity and show them that every question is a new opportunity to learn, explore, and develop.

Her message to young learners is simple, yet powerful: “Every question you ask brings you one step closer to the future you create for yourself.”

In her personal story, Aleksandra shares how her passion for science and education shaped her professional journey: “I believe that every spark of curiosity can become the beginning of an extraordinary life journey. From an early age, I was fascinated by science and the way it explains the world around us. But even stronger than my love of knowledge was my desire to become a teacher -someone who inspires, motivates, and opens new horizons for young people.

The journey was not always easy, but every challenge taught me that success is built through hard work, dedication, and lifelong learning. My greatest reward is reflected in the eyes of my students - when they understand something new, begin to believe in themselves, and gain the confidence to ask even more questions.

Today, my work in education and science is more than a profession - it is a mission. I believe that every teacher and every person who loves science can become a guiding star for young people, helping them discover their own path and encouraging them to dream bigger.

Dear students, your curiosity is your greatest strength. Let every question lead you one step closer to your future. Perhaps one day, you will be the ones lighting the way for others.”

Aleksandra Kjurchievska is part of a community of dedicated educators who, through the Science for the Future campaign, inspire young people to embrace science as a pathway to knowledge, self-confidence, innovation, and a brighter future.
