From training to classroom change! Short Impact Analysis of the “Science and Me” project
Macedonia2025 is pleased to share the new Short Impact Analysis of the “Science and Me” project, highlighting the results, lessons learned, and three-year impact of our work in strengthening science education across Macedonia.
During the 2025/2026 cycle, the project engaged 42 teachers, with an estimated classroom reach of approximately 6,500 students. Through three regional science fairs, more than 1,050 students were directly engaged in experiments, teamwork, presentations, and peer learning.
The analysis shows a positive trend in teacher confidence, classroom practice, inquiry-based learning, mentorship, and student engagement. It also confirms one important lesson: real change happens when teacher training is combined with mentoring, practical resources, classroom application, science fairs, and exposure to real-world science.
We are also happy to announce that Macedonia2025 has received a new grant to continue the “Science and Me” project. This means more opportunities for teachers, students, schools, mentors, and young science enthusiasts in the coming period.
Teachers and students - stay tuned! New activities, calls, and opportunities are coming soon.
Read the full analysis and discover how “Science and Me” is helping build a stronger culture of curiosity, experimentation, and science learning in Macedonia.
