New Generation of 40 Students – Recipients of the “Atanas Bliznakoff” Scholarship for Student Excellence
Forty undergraduate students from the first cycle of studies at the “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” University in Skopje have been awarded the “Atanas Bliznakoff” Scholarship for Student Excellence by the MK2025 Foundation. Each student will receive an annual scholarship of 2,500 USD (denar equivalent) as support for their studies. The scholarships are provided by the “Atanas Bliznakoff” Foundation from the USA, in support of the new generation of academic citizens.
The scholarships are awarded to full-time students enrolled in the first year of undergraduate studies at all faculties of the “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” University in Skopje, who have achieved outstanding results in their previous education, demonstrate achievements and motivation for personal and professional development, but lack sufficient financial means to continue their education.
For the third time, the MK2025 Foundation is administering the open call for scholarships of the “Atanas Bliznakoff” Foundation, through which we have so far supported 134 outstanding students from 25 cities, studying at 17 faculties across 47 study programs, with nearly equal gender and ethnic representation. With the new scholarship recipients, the “Atanas Bliznakoff” scholarship family will grow to more than 160 scholars.
