Macedonia2025 and Finelevate Sign Memorandum of Cooperation to Advance Digital Transformation and Innovation

Macedonia2025 and Finelevate have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, establishing a framework for joint initiatives aimed at advancing digital transformation, innovation, modern financial services and stronger connections among companies, institutions, experts and international networks.

The Memorandum was signed by Prof. Dr. Nikica Mojsoska-Blazevski, CEO of Macedonia2025, and Viktor Krstevski, Founder and CEO of Finelevate.

Through this partnership, Macedonia2025 and Finelevate reaffirm their shared commitment to supporting the development of a more innovative, competitive and digitally prepared economy. The cooperation will focus particularly on the financial sector, the fintech ecosystem, small and medium-sized enterprises, technology companies and the wider business community.

Planned activities include the exchange of knowledge and expertise, the organization of joint events and initiatives, support for educational and professional development activities, and the promotion of innovative solutions. The two organizations will also work to connect companies with relevant experts, partners and international networks, creating practical opportunities for the development of new digital services and sustainable business models.

The partnership will address several areas of strategic importance for the future of the Macedonian economy, including digital transformation in the financial sector, fintech solutions, digital identity and trust services, artificial intelligence, data management, cybersecurity, e-services, digital channels and modern customer experiences.

During the signing meeting, representatives of Macedonia2025 and Finelevate also discussed some of the broader systemic challenges affecting the Macedonian economy. These include limited cooperation among companies, insufficient joint development of services and products, and the limited capacity of individual businesses to invest independently in innovation.

As a relatively small market, Macedonia cannot rely solely on isolated initiatives and individual company efforts. Accelerating the development of digital services, financial technologies and innovative business models requires stronger partnerships, greater trust, more open knowledge exchange and a coordinated approach to emerging market opportunities.

The discussion also addressed the challenges faced by foreign investors and companies entering the Macedonian market, including procedures for opening bank accounts, managing financial processes, navigating administrative requirements and accessing simpler, more digital and efficient services.

Particular attention was given to the need to strengthen a culture of long-term business cooperation. Partnerships based on trust, shared value and a genuine “win-win” approach can help businesses overcome market limitations, share risks and create solutions with the potential to compete beyond Macedonia.

For Macedonia2025, the cooperation with Finelevate represents an opportunity to promote this collaborative approach through open dialogue, practical support for companies and investors, and initiatives that encourage joint development and innovation.

“Macedonia has knowledge, talent and companies with potential, but as a small market we must build much more through cooperation, trust and the joint development of services. We cannot always expect each company to carry all investments, risks and innovation on its own. We need more win-win partnerships, more practical support for investors and companies that want to create value, and greater readiness to jointly build solutions that will be competitive beyond our market,” said Viktor Krstevski, Founder and CEO of Finelevate.

“Macedonia2025 continuously works to connect knowledge, leadership, the diaspora and the business community in support of economic development and greater competitiveness. Our cooperation with Finelevate creates opportunities for joint activities in areas that are essential for the future of our companies and economy—digitalization, innovation, financial technologies and the development of modern skills,” said Prof. Dr. Nikica Mojsoska-Blazevski, CEO of Macedonia2025.

The Memorandum provides a foundation for future joint events, expert discussions, research activities, knowledge-sharing programs and practical initiatives that will contribute to accelerating digital transformation and strengthening the competitiveness of Macedonian companies.

Through this partnership, Macedonia2025 and Finelevate will work together to create value through cooperation, expertise and initiatives that support the development of a modern, innovative and digitally oriented economy.
