Aleksandra Davcheva – One Year as an Atanas Bliznakoff Scholar
It is our great pleasure to highlight the positive impact of the Atanas Bliznakoff Scholarship through the story of Aleksandra Davcheva, a dedicated student at the Faculty of Economics at the “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” University in Skopje.
“The scholarship from the "Atanas Bliznakoff" Foundation was not only financial support but also a strong motivation during my studies. During the first academic year, the scholarship helped me focus on what I love – learning, research and progress.
Now I don't see my studies as an obligation, but as an opportunity to develop, progress and build myself as a successful person. I participated in events, connected with young people from different faculties, which was of key importance for my further academic and personal development.
Thanks to the scholarship, I had the honor of being an "Ambassador for a Day" – a moment that I carry with me as a lasting inspiration and motivation.
This event allowed me to find myself in a role that requires leadership, communication, and self-confidence.
I had the chance to meet the British Ambassador, discuss various topics, and was honored to be a guest of the President of our country.
The scholarship not only brought me financial security, it also gave me the courage to believe in myself and strive for more with a sincere desire for progress. ”
