Fourth Generation of Scholars! 43 New Students Awarded the “Atanas Bliznakoff” Student Excellence Scholarship
Forty-three first-year students at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje are the recipients of the Macedonia2025 Atanas Bliznakoff Student Excellence Scholarship. Each student will receive an annual scholarship of USD 2,500 (in local currency equivalent) to support their studies. The scholarships are provided by the Atanas Bliznakoff Foundation, supporting a new generation of academic citizens.
Forty-three first-year students at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje are the recipients of the Macedonia2025 Atanas Bliznakoff Student Excellence Scholarship. Each student will receive an annual scholarship of USD 2,500 (in local currency equivalent) to support their studies. The scholarships are provided by the Atanas Bliznakoff Foundation, supporting a new generation of academic citizens.
The scholarships are awarded to regular first-year students across all faculties at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University who have demonstrated exceptional results in their previous educational cycle, achieved notable accomplishments, and shown motivation for personal and professional development, but lack sufficient financial resources to continue their education.
This year marks the fourth generation of talented and ambitious students joining this prestigious program. Notably, there are 43 recipients instead of the usual 40, as the last candidates achieved identical scores and share the same ranking.

Scholarship distribution will be carried out through the Atanas Bliznakoff Foundation.
