Divna Karapancheva – Promotional Campaign “SCIENCE FOR THE FUTURE”

Every discovery begins with a question – dare to ask it.

As part of the “Science for the Future” campaign, implemented with the support of the Johnson Matthey Community Impact Program, we are pleased to share the inspirational message and story of Divna Karapancheva, a biology and natural sciences teacher-mentor at the primary school “Vera Ciriviri – Trena,” Skopje, Karposh.

Through her motivational message, she encourages students to trust their own curiosity:

“Every great discovery begins with a simple question, and your curiosity and courage to explore can create a future full of knowledge and opportunities.”

In her personal story, Divna brings science closer to the everyday lives of children:

“Every day, strange and interesting things happen around us. The cells in our bodies work like little factories, trees grow and ‘breathe,’ and animals have their own secret ways of surviving. With a little curiosity and a desire to explore, you can discover how life works and how to help nature and the people around you.”

She describes science as a journey full of discoveries:

“Science is like an adventure. Just one question, one experiment, or one small idea is enough to start a journey full of new knowledge and opportunities.”

With a clear message to her students, Divna encourages them to think boldly and explore:

“When you choose to study biology, chemistry, physics, or any other science, your curiosity will guide you toward a future full of knowledge, surprises, and new discoveries. Your curiosity can change the future.”

Divna Karapancheva is part of the inspirational community of teachers who, through “Science for the Future,” motivate students to ask questions, explore, and discover science as a tool for a better world.
