Melani Ivanova, born in Štip and a fourth-year student at the “Slavčo Stojmenski” High School, has undoubtedly left her mark in the literary world. In addition to her passion for sports, recognized and celebrated by various competition organizers, she has also distinguished herself in literature and philosophy.

She has won second prizes in several prestigious competitions, including the National Free-Topic Competition organized by the Agency for Youth and Sports, which saw over 180 participants. Her ability to combine art and sports was particularly highlighted on this occasion. Melani also excelled in the National Philosophy Competition, earning second place, demonstrating her broad range of knowledge and interests. This award grants her the right to participate in the upcoming Philosophy Olympiad in Macedonia.

Beyond these significant literary and academic achievements, Melani shared her experience with the mentorship program provided by the MK2025 Foundation. She describes that mentorship gave her a complete perspective for the future and encouraged her in making the right choices for her further education.

She says: "The MK2025 Foundation, in addition to all the opportunities provided to us young talents to develop and refine our skills and knowledge, reached its peak by establishing a unique mentorship experience. The mentor became both a guide for facing new challenges and a lifelong friend. Mentorship has given me a complete perspective for the future and gradually encourages me to make the right choice for my higher education. My mentor has been a perfect match – cheerful, smiling, ambitious, ready to listen at any time, and most importantly, skilled in guiding my path to success. As a scholarship recipient for the third year in a row, together with MK2025 Foundation, we are always one step ahead, striving to reach the widest horizons and turn the impossible into possible – and we undeniably succeed!"
