Johnson Matthey Factory Visit – Inspiring the Next Generation!
On May 28, 2026, over 20 bright young minds from 4 primary schools: OOU “Stiv Naumov” Skopje; OOU “Dimitar Miladinov” Skopje; OOU “Hristo Uzunov” Ohrid; and OOU “Grigor Prlichev” Skopje - had the incredible opportunity to visit the Johnson Matthey factory, guided by their passionate science teachers.
These immersive visits, supported by the JM Community Impact Program “Science and Me”, allowed students to witness science and innovation in action, explore state-of-the-art production and laboratory processes, and get inspired about STEM careers.
Each school also received a hands-on science kit for its students, designed to spark curiosity and empower them to experiment and learn beyond the classroom.
A heartfelt thank you to the devoted JM employees from production, laboratory, and HR, whose guidance and enthusiasm made this experience truly unforgettable.
We also extend our sincere gratitude to our partners – Triglav Osiguruvanje Skopje, Trimaks, and all others who help make the “Science and Me” initiative possible. Your support ensures that students across Macedonia can access high-quality STEM learning opportunities.
With this activity, we are closing another successful cycle of the “Science and Me” project, celebrating all the students, teachers, and partners who made it possible!
Together, we are nurturing curiosity, creativity, and scientific literacy, inspiring the innovators of tomorrow!
