Final of the “Best Business Concept 2025: Competition for Green Innovations”

On April 12, 2025, in Skopje, the final of the “Best Business Concept 2025: Competition for Green Innovations” was held, organized by the National Center for Innovation Development and Entrepreneurial Learning (NCRIDEL) at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. This competition, aimed at high school students, was designed to encourage entrepreneurial spirit among young people and to promote the development of green innovations that positively impact the economy and the environment.

Sixteen teams participated in the final, presenting their innovative ideas to the jury.

“Macedonia2025 is an organization dedicated to creating a prosperous future for our country through supporting innovation, education, and young leaders like you. We believe that you are the key to sustainable development in our country, and that is why we are proud partners of this competition,” the Macedonia2025 jury representatives stated.

After careful evaluation, the jury selected the following winners:

First place: Project RIZONIC – SOU “Gošo Vikentiev”, Kočani

Second place: Project PurTex – SOU “Jane Sandanski”, Strumica

Third place: Project Freshko – SUGS “Rade Jovčevski Korchagin”, Skopje and Project MakeBag – SUGSG “Zdravko Cvetkovski”, Skopje

The winning teams will receive prizes from the competition partners: Macedonia2025, Halkbank AD Skopje, the Knowledge Management Center, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Macedonia, and the GREENSMES – Interreg IPA Adrion project.

A big thank you to all participants who courageously presented their ideas for a greener Macedonia, contributing to raising awareness about the importance of sustainable development.
