Dragana Onchevska-Kovacheva – Promotional Campaign “SCIENCE FOR THE FUTURE”

As part of the “Science for the Future” campaign, implemented under the Johnson Matthey Community Impact Program, we are proud to share the motivational message of Dragana Onchevska-Kovacheva, a biology teacher at OOŠ “Nevena Georgieva-Dunja” in Skopje’s Kisela Voda district.

Her message to all elementary students is simple but deeply inspiring:

“Children are naturally curious, full of questions about the world around them and eager to explore how things work. By striving to fully develop their abilities and capacities, we should harness this innate curiosity and begin channeling their enthusiasm for scientific discovery as early as possible.They are programmed to explore and experiment from the very beginning, and by utilizing their natural predispositions, we can nurture and establish a positive approach to science education that will remain a personal trait for them in the future.”

Teacher Dragana is part of the growing community of educators who, through the “Science for the Future” campaign, ignite curiosity and encourage critical thinking in students.
