Returnees who have lived or worked abroad for at least two years may be eligible for 10% more financial support under selected employment and entrepreneurship measures. The support is available through four measures aimed at encouraging self-employment, business formalization, joint business creation, and employment growth.
This initiative creates an opportunity for Macedonians abroad to return, invest their knowledge and experience at home, and contribute to the country’s economic development. Whether you are planning to start your own business, formalize an existing activity, or create new jobs, the available measures can help support your next step.
The measures include support for self-employment, self-employment for youth up to 29 years old, joint business creation through an LLC, and support for employers hiring returnees. Depending on the measure, returnees may receive an additional 10% on the approved grant, while employers may also receive additional support when hiring a returnee.
All interested individuals should follow the official public calls and detailed conditions published by the Employment Agency of Macedonia.
Return to Macedonia. Start your own business. Build your future at home.
