Prof. Nikica Mojsoska-Blazevski acts as Dean of the School of Business Economics and Management at the American College at Skopje since 2009, as well as a Professor of Economics and Quantitative Methods. Previously, she worked in the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Macedonia for 9 years, out of which the last 3 Mojsoska-Blazevski was Head of the Macroeconomic Policy Department. She obtained her doctoral degree at the Staffordshire University Business School, the UK in 2006. She completed her post-doctoral studies at Arizona State University in 2016 as part of a Fulbright scholarship and has been engaged as a research fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2017.
Mojsoska-Blazevski is an author of many journal articles and several book chapters, mainly in the area of macroeconomics, labor market, education and social system and policy. She has been working on research projects with international economic organizations, such as the World Bank, ILO, UNDP and the European Commission, both in Macedonia and the Western Balkan region. Nikica has so far been engaged as a consultant to the labor ministers in all countries of the Western Balkan.
Mojsoska-Blazevski is a member of well-established international research organizations, such as the European Association for Comparative Economic Studies (EACES), European Association of Labor Economists, London School of Economics (LSE) Research Network on South-East Europe, etc., as well as a council member of few companies and business organizations in Macedonia. She has won several international and domestic research awards and has been granted over 30 research projects. Her hobbies include sports, especially skiing, and philately.
