Mr. Andy Peykoff Sr., founder of Niagara Bottling, joined Macedonia 2025’s board of directors during a
regular board meeting held on May 29, 2012.
Founded in 1963, Niagara Bottling is the world’s largest private-label bottled water company and the
world’s second largest bottled water company overall. Mr. Peykoff began delivering high quality, low
cost water in five-gallon glass containers for home and office delivery, using his garage as his storage
area. More than 49 years later, with production capacity of over 21-billion bottles of water per year,
Niagara is the industry leader in high speed automation and emerging plastic technologies, including
vertical integration and light weighting. Niagara has received the Best PET technology innovation award
in 2009, recognizing the Eco3 bottle design as the most innovative technological accomplishment in the
PET industry. Niagara recently received the 2011 Best Sustainability Initiative Award for the launch of
nested packs at the Global Bottled Water Congress, and was also a finalist for the Best New Packaging
Innovation Award. Our Eco-Air IV bottle was highly commended as the Best New Bottle in PET.
Mr. Peykoff’s entrepreneurial spirit, dedication and passion has led him and his family on the road to
success. As a Macedonian, he is passionate about his homeland and excited to work with Macedonia
2025 to assist in building a prosperous future for entrepreneurs, businesses, and investors alike.
“Within Macedonia, there are multiple opportunities to bring incremental value, create jobs and generate
profits. Many of these opportunities can be taken advantage of with minimal or no foreign investment.
What is required is recognizing opportunities, a business plan, and hard work by like-minded
Macedonians,” stated Mr. Peykoff of the economic opportunities present in Macedonia today.
Macedonia 2025 is enthusiastic to welcome Mr. Peykoff to our board. “Andy is a great example of how
hard work and dedication can take your career to the next level. He is a great role model for
entrepreneurs all over the world. We are honored to have him on board and believe he will enhance the
quality of our efforts to build competitiveness of Macedonian companies and strengthen the
entrepreneurial spirit in Macedonia” stated Mike Zafirovski, chairman of Macedonia 2025.
