Our leaders club member Ms Natasha Sardzoska, established Macedonian writer, poet and researcher, has been invited to the International Poetry Festival of Genova, the first and the oldest poetry festival in Italy. On this occasion, her book Skin was translated and published in Italian language with the support of the EU-funded program “Creative Europe”. Ms Sardzoska has performed her poetry at the Doge’s Palace in Genova in front of wide international audience. Her first reading was accompanied by the French jazz singer Charlene Puygiraud whereas her second performance at the stage of the Doge’s Palace besides the jazz singing was accompanied by the Italian painter Cosimo Frezzolini who was drawing on Ms Sardzoska skin and back while she was reading her poem Skin
Ms Sardzoska is second Macedonian poet who has been invited at this festival and her attendance there was supported by the Versopolis platform for emerging poets.
She has published four poetry books, i.e. Blue room, Skin, He pulled me with invisible string and Living water. This is her first book published in Italy and samples of her book are distributed across Italian libraries and bookshops.
