Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is an exchange programme for entrepreneurs, financed by the European Union. It offers young entrepreneurs the opportunity to work alongside an experienced entrepreneur in another participating country and strengthen the skills they need to develop for their business. New entrepreneurs’ stay abroad can last one month with an opportunity for extension.
In practice, this means that the programme is run by a network of local contact points (including Chambers of Commerce, incubators and other organizations supporting businesses, etc.) presented in the different participating countries.
The National centre for development of innovation and entrepreneurial learning – NCDIEL[1] is this programs’ contact point for mobilities from our country. As part of the consortium of the SEE SMART SMEs project (South Eastern European coalition to cultivate SMART SMEs in Europe) NCDIEL will implement the support system for applicants. Both, the NEs (New Entrepreneurs) and the HEs (Host Entrepreneurs) can participate in the programme in a different way:
- New Entrepreneurs are those who will undertake the placement and will benefit from the mentorship of an experienced Host Entrepreneur. More info for NEs on the following link HERE.
- Host Entrepreneurs are those who will host the New Entrepreneurs and will benefit from having young energized member in their team who might be a source for novel skills, potential future partner, as well as knowledge for new markets. More info for HEs on the following link HERE.
