Professor Terziovski has also worked at Monash University as a Senior Lecturer for 4 years and returned to the University of Melbourne in 2000. Prior to his Academic career, he held several management positions within the Rio Tinto Group over a period of 16 years. He left Rio in 1991 to undertake PhD research at the Melbourne Business School. The Australian Research Council (ARC) and the Department of Innovation Industry Science and Research (DIISR) have primarily funded his research.
Professor Terziovski has consulted to a diverse group of companies both large and small, including Motorola, Dow Chemical, Ford Australia, PETRONAS in Malaysia, and companies in France: Merck, IBM, Xerox, and La Poste. He has served on the Advisory Council for e-Commerce, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, established by the former President of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Boris Trajkovski. Professor Terziovski is an immediate past Deputy Chair of the Academic Board, at the Australian Institute of Management in Melbourne.
Professor Terziovski holds a BEng with Honours and MEng with Honours from the University of Wollongong, an MBA from RMIT University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (HRM) from Newcastle University and a PhD in Strategy and Innovation from the Melbourne Business School, the University of Melbourne.
