The Macedonian Bassbaritone Ivan Naumovski finished his bachelor studies 2013 in his hometown Skopje. Shortly after he won a scholarship from Steiermarkische Sparkasse (Best of South East), which enabled him to study Master in Graz, Austria, and to complete his Master studies in 2016. During that period , he sang numerous concerts in halls like Musikverein Graz, Kasematten Graz, and also made his professional debut in Opera Graz in 2014 with the role of Vicomte Cascada in the Operetta “Die lustige Witwe”. In Oper Graz he sang also the main role of Beelzebub Irrwitzer in the contemporary opera “Der Wunschpunsch”, which premiered in Austria. During the season 2014-15 he sang numerous concerts and projects in the opera, but also he sang roles at the KUG University in Graz like Papageno in “The magic flute”, Impresario in “Viva la mamma”, Masetto in “Don Giovanni”, and others.
He won several competitions in Macedonia, Montenegro and Kosovo, and he was also given the “Virtuozi” award in 2015 for best young talent in the field of classical music in Macedonia. He shared the stage with the Philharmonic orchestra and the opera orchestra in Macedonia, as well as other ensembles. In his operatic debut in Macedonia he performs the role of Eugene Onegin in the opera “Eugene Onegin” at the opening of the festival “May opera nights”. From 2016 he is a Master student at MDW in Vienna, and also is professionally involved in lot of concert halls in Vienna like Palais and Garten Liechtenstein, Kursalon, Palais Eschenbach, Schlosstheater Schönbrunn, and he often sings at Festspiele Musikwelten, which occurs every year with concerts in Czech Republic, Austria and Germany.
He sang wide repertoire of roles like Figaro, Guglielmo, Masetto, Don Giovanni, Onegin, Papageno, Malatesta, Belcore and others. He also is a Lied and Oratorio performer. Ivan worked with renowned international musicians and attended masterclasses with KS Christa Ludwig, KS Gabriele Fontana, Karlheinz Hanser and others.
