posted June 1, 2017

At the Summit in 2016, Macedonia2025 launched the Zafirovski Executive Education Program, providing scholarships to the Kellogg School of Management’s Executive Development Program. This is the first program in Macedonia that connects company executives to world-class executive education courses at a top-ranked business school in the United States. The program is intended to enhance the competencies and performance of the participants and by that extension, to contribute to the growth of companies in Macedonia and their role in the economic development of the country.

The Macedonia2025 Education Committee states that the organization’s cooperation with the Kellogg School of Management creates a privilege for Macedonian executives to attend the third-ranked business school in the United States, second-ranked, according to the US Employer survey. The KSM provides a three-week program at Northwestern University near Chicago which includes comprehensive leadership accelerator opportunities such as mentoring, networking, experiential learning and ongoing support.

The closing of the call brought us close to 30 applications, which were reviewed by several senior business professionals and members of academia from Macedonia, the United States, Canada and Australia. The admission committee shortlisted top-performing and high-potential managers with enterprise-level responsibilities who have been at the CEO position for around 10 years, out of which, the committee selected

·         Petar Ribarski, Country Manager, Portiline, Macedonia Airport Advertising Ltd. - Skopje

·         Jana Marin, Member of the Board of Directors / Deputy CEO, Acibadem Sistina Hospital

·         Milosh Radulovikj, Head of Pharmaceutical Corporate Development, Alkaloid AD Skopje

·         Kiro Risteski, Head of unit Coatings, ArcelorMittal Skopje

·         Naum Barzov, CEO, Bargala AD

·         Dejan Ivanoski, Director, Symphony Solutions

Macedonia2025 wants to congratulate the selected participants and to wish them a pleasant stay and engaging learning experience in the US. Furthermore, the organization extends its gratitude to the individuals, organizations and institutions that supported the program, especially the Kellogg School of Management for being part of this cooperation.

We expect to continue and expand our collaboration with Kellogg in 2018. All interested candidates are invited to mark their calendars for the next call for applications in September, 2017.
